Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 July 2026

These Terms of Service apply to your use of RPH Log Analyzer, including the desktop application, website, update and maintenance-status services, log analysis features, the Online plugin checkup, anonymous usage statistics, and the optional Share and Support features.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RPH Log Analyzer, you agree to these Terms and any End User Licence Agreement shown during installation or first launch. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.

1. About RPH Log Analyzer

RPH Log Analyzer is a troubleshooting utility that helps you analyse RAGE Plugin Hook, LSPDFR, mod, plugin, and related game log files, check your plugins against a community plugin database, and optionally check your PC and GTA V folder for common setup problems.

The application provides automated guidance only. It may help identify common issues, but it is not guaranteed to detect every issue or to provide a correct fix.

2. Independent third-party tool

RPH Log Analyzer is an independent, third-party utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or supported by RAGE Plugin Hook, LSPDFR, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any other game, mod, plugin, or software provider. The plugin database used by the Online plugin checkup is operated independently by SuperPyroManiac and the LSPDFR community.

All trademarks, product names, game names, and related marks remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Licence

Subject to these Terms and the End User Licence Agreement, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use RPH Log Analyzer for personal troubleshooting purposes.

You must not:

  • sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, re-host, or commercially exploit the application;
  • copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the application;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where the law expressly allows;
  • bypass licence, update, security, rate-limit, or access controls;
  • use the application to interfere with, damage, or overload any service, including the plugin-database partner's;
  • use the application for unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful purposes.

4. Local analysis and the System check

RPH Log Analyzer reads the log file you select to identify known issues and provide guidance. If you turn the Online plugin checkup off, this analysis runs entirely on your device and your log is not uploaded.

The optional System check reads your PC (the Windows registry) and your GTA V folder on a read-only basis to look for common setup problems. It runs entirely on your computer and transmits nothing.

5. Online plugin checkup

The Online plugin checkup is on by default. When it is on, each log you analyze is sent to the LSPDFR Helper plugin database (operated by SuperPyroManiac and the LSPDFR community) to check which of your plugins are outdated, missing, or known to cause problems.

  • Before the log is sent, the application automatically removes your Windows username and any email addresses.
  • The log is transmitted over an encrypted connection through our own server, is used only to produce your result, and is not stored by us.
  • You can turn the checkup off in Settings at any time, in which case analysis is fully local and nothing about your log is uploaded.
  • The checkup may be temporarily unavailable, or disabled for maintenance, and the application will fall back to local analysis.

Automated removal of identifiers is a convenience, not a guarantee. You are responsible for the logs you choose to analyze with the checkup on; if a log may contain sensitive data written by a third-party mod, turn the checkup off first.

6. Anonymous usage statistics

The application is on by default to send a small, anonymous summary after each analysis: the application version, the detected game / RAGE Plugin Hook / LSPDFR versions, the game edition, a rounded plugin count, whether a crash was detected, and whether the online checkup was used. It contains no log data, no file paths, no Windows username, no plugin names, and no identifier for you or your device. You can turn it off at any time under Settings → Usage statistics.

7. Sharing reports (optional)

The Share feature is off by default and is enabled in Settings. When you use it, you choose what to include for that share: the analysis report only, or the report together with your full RagePluginHook.log.

  • Whatever you choose is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded. The decryption key is contained only within the share link itself and is never sent to our servers, so we cannot read the contents of a shared report.
  • A share link works for 7 days and is then automatically deleted. Turning the Share feature off deletes the links you have created, so they stop working.
  • Before uploading, the application automatically removes your Windows username, computer name, email addresses, and the folder path to your log (showing only the file name).
  • Anyone who has the full link can open the shared report, so only send links to people you trust.

You are responsible for what you share. Automated removal of identifiers is a convenience, not a guarantee. You should review the report before sharing and must not share anything that contains passwords, licence keys, access tokens, private messages, personal information, account or server credentials, payment details, confidential information, or anything you do not have permission to share — for example if a third-party mod has written such data into your log.

8. Support cases (optional)

You may open a support case from within the application. The subject, description, and optional contact you provide are sent to our server together with your anonymous device identifier and the application's version number, so we can show a reply to you inside the app. Do not include passwords, sensitive, private, or confidential information in a support case, and do not attach a log unless you have reviewed it. Cases are removed after they are resolved.

9. Device identifier and rate limiting

To protect the Share and Support features from spam, abuse, and excessive use, the application generates a random, anonymous device identifier, stored on your computer. It contains no personal information and is not used to identify you.

The device identifier is sent only with share, revoke, and support requests, and is used only to:

  • limit how many share links or support cases a device can create;
  • prevent spam or abuse and protect service availability;
  • let you delete the share links, and track the support cases, created by your device.

You must not attempt to bypass device identification, rate limits, abuse prevention, or security controls.

10. Feedback

If you voluntarily contact us (for example through rphlogs.com/support or a support case) with feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you agree we may use that feedback to improve the application, its detection guidance, and its documentation, without obligation or payment to you. Do not include sensitive, private, or confidential information in any feedback.

11. Updates and network requests

The application makes two small automatic requests on startup — a version check and a maintenance-status check— each of which sends only the application's own version number, never your log data or personal information, and both are skipped if you are offline. In addition, while they are enabled, the Online plugin checkup sends your scrubbed log for each analysis and anonymous usage statistics send a non-identifying summary after each analysis (both can be turned off in Settings). The Share and Support features make requests only when you use them. If the application encounters an internal error, a diagnostic file may be written locally to %LocalAppData%\RPHLogAnalyzer and is never transmitted.

You are responsible for keeping the application updated. Older versions may contain bugs, missing detections, or outdated guidance.

12. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • choosing which files to analyse, whether to leave the Online plugin checkup on for a given log, and what, if anything, to share;
  • reviewing a report before sharing it;
  • reviewing suggested fixes before applying them, and backing up files before making changes;
  • ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and third-party terms;
  • deciding whether the guidance is appropriate for your setup.

You should not rely on RPH Log Analyzer as your only source of troubleshooting advice.

13. No warranty

RPH Log Analyzer is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that: the application will be error-free; detections will be accurate or complete; suggested fixes will resolve your issue; the application, the Online plugin checkup, or the Share service will be available at all times; or that the application will be compatible with all systems, mods, plugins, game versions, or configurations.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burnsie / RPH Log Analyzer is not liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, or expense arising from your use of the application or reliance on its guidance, including: game, mod, or plugin issues; lost data; corrupted files; downtime; failed troubleshooting; incorrect detections; any disclosure resulting from content you chose to analyze online or share; or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Suspension or restriction

We may restrict, rate-limit, or disable access to online features (such as the Online plugin checkup, sharing, or support) if we believe there is misuse, abuse, excessive activity, attempted bypassing of controls, a security risk, or a breach of these Terms.

16. Changes

We may update the application, its features, detection guidance, online services, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the application or website. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree that the courts of Queensland, Australia have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
